‘Counting in Ones’ is central to the ethos of the college and is our motto. Each student is an exception, an individual. We aim to meet each person’s needs and to help them realise their aspirations. High expectations of all are at the heart of our vision for the College. Peter Symonds College seeks the highest quality in all it does. We develop well-rounded, independentminded individuals who do not shy from having ambitious goals or trying new experiences. We aim to raise achievement and to provide a happy, supportive environment where individuals can grow in confidence, fulfil their potential and develop the skills and aptitudes needed for a successful life, both in the short and longer term. We aim to foster in each individual a sense of community, consideration and respect for others and to promote moral and social responsibility.
